Who we are
This website, blaumondstudio.com, is operated by Blaumond Studio, an independent venture studio based in Kolkata, India. In this notice, “we” and “us” mean Blaumond Studio.
If you have a question about this notice or about your information, please contact us through theproject enquiry form or by email at hello@blaumondstudio.com.
What we collect
We collect information you choose to send us through the project enquiry form:
- Name and email address — so we can reply to you.
- Company or brand (optional) — to understand who the project is for.
- Project type and budget range (optional) — to understand what you need.
- Project description — the details you choose to share.
- Your confirmation that you have read this notice.
To protect the form from abuse, our server also uses your IP address to limit how many enquiries can be sent in a short time. It stores only a scrambled (hashed) version of the address, for up to one hour.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when pages are requested — such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request — to keep the service running and secure.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the website — seeCookies and analytics.
How we use it
When you submit the form, your enquiry is sent to us by email. We use it only to read and respond to your enquiry and to discuss a possible project with you. We do not use it for marketing lists, and we do not sell it.
Analytics data, if you allow it, is used only in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
How long we keep it
The website itself does not store your enquiry — it is delivered to our mailbox. We keep enquiry emails only for as long as they are needed to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows.
Google Analytics keeps analytics data for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.
Who we share it with
We do not share your enquiry with anyone else. It passes through the service providers that make the website and email work — our web hosting and email providers — who process it on our behalf.
If you accept analytics cookies, usage data is processed by Google (Google Analytics) on our behalf. Google may process it on servers outside India. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services (opens in a new tab).
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website — for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, and your approximate location (country or city). It does this with cookies, and only if you click “Accept” on the cookie notice. If you decline or ignore it, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
With your consent, Google Analytics sets these cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> — keeps track of the current visit. Expires after 2 years.
We have turned off Google’s advertising features (Google signals and ad personalisation). Google Analytics does not store your full IP address. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party embeds, and fonts and all other files are served from our own server.
Your choice is saved in your browser so we don’t ask again on every page. You can change it at any time in .
Your choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies, and withdraw your consent later through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Declining removes the analytics cookies from your browser.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry, by contacting us as described above. You may also have rights under the data-protection laws that apply to you.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if the way the website handles information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
